OUR STORY
ROOTED IN CIIT
Create Foundation PH traces its roots to CIIT College of Arts and Technology (CIIT) whose institutional development goal is to improve Filipino lives through its education that highlights the use of technology.
Glitter Moreño, a seasoned development worker, joined CIIT in December 2021 as its first Community Development Officer. With the office newly established, she created the “Form to Transform” framework to guide civic formation programs for students and staff. This framework shaped the NSTP curriculum, the Greening CIIT sustainability initiative, and E-Pitch, which showcases employees’ personal civic advocacies.

SPARKS OF CREATE
Glitter’s initiatives drew the attention of CIIT’s Board of Directors, strong advocates of educational reform. In October 2023, CEO Niel Dagondon invited her to lead the creation of a new foundation he, his wife Nicole, and fellow board members Darwin and Sherwin O had long envisioned to expand their mission impact.
By November, Glitter accepted and spent ten months crafting the development and operational frameworks for Create Foundation PH—an independent organization that celebrates both technology and the arts, echoing CIIT’s spirit. She now serves as its Executive Director.

The CIIT Board of Directors—Sherwin, Darwin, Nicole, and Niel—along with Glitter, comprise the Board of Create Foundation. They are champions of educational reform and digital transformation.
